    Women’s Hockey Travels North to Face Saint Anselm

    Women’s Hockey Travels North to Face Saint Anselm

    CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women’s hockey team continues its nonconference action with a trip up north to face Saint Anselm College on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege.

    THE LAST TIME OUT 

    – The Eagles recently traveled west to compete against No. 3 Minnesota in a two-game series.

    – Boston College lost both games to Minnesota.

    – Freshman Ava Thomas recorded her first career goal on Thursday.

    A LOOK AT SAINT ANSELM 

    – Saint Anselm enters Saturday’s matchup undefeated. Last week, the Hawks hosted Saint Michael’s College, winning both games with scores of 3-2 and 4-2.

    – Brooklyn Schneiderhan leads the team in points, having recorded three goals and two assists.

    – Kayla Czukoski started both games in goal for the Hawks and currently holds a save percentage of .926 and a goals-against average of 2.00.

    SERIES HISTORY

    – This will be the second-ever meeting between the two teams.

    – They previously faced each other on December 30, 2023, where Boston College won 5-1 at home.

    – Sammy Taber recorded two goals and an assist in that game.

    CAPTAIN O’ CAPTAIN 

    – Senior defenseman Jade Arnone and senior goalkeeper Grace Campbell have been elected as captains for the Eagles.

    – In the 2024-25 season, Campbell achieved a career-best .930 save percentage and received the Hockey East Three-Star award.

    – Jade Arnone finished the 2024-25 campaign with seven points, including two goals and five assists.
