Someone in Massachusetts claimed a $1 million prize on Thursday from a winning $50 lottery ticket.

The $1 million prize was from “Lifetime Millions,” a $50 scratch ticket game released in 2024. There’s still four $1 million prizes remaining to be claimed in the game as of Oct. 3, along with two $2 million and one grand prize of $1 million a year for life.

The winning ticket was sold at T&T Market in Winthrop.

Overall, at least 480 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Thursday, including 13 in Springfield, 21 in Worcester and 40 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.

The largest lottery prize won so far this year was worth $1 million a year for life, from a winning “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield and claimed in July.
