Thinking of applying for a new job? Some places to work are better than others.
Forbes just released a list of “America’s Best Employers by State,” based on factors like wage parity, work culture, paths to professional advancement, and whether the employer takes action on serious issues.
This was done in partnership with Statista to survey more than 160,000 employees who work for companies of at least 500 people. Their responses were tallied and incorporated into a scoring system with survey data from the past three years.
In total, 1,417 companies made it onto at least one of Forbes’ state lists. Some employers were ranked in multiple states, the magazine said.
