    BASEBALL

    In the Catholic Central League, Ayden Mello struck out nine in a three-hitter as Bishop Feehan blanked Cardinal Spellman, 7-0.

    SOFTBALL

    Lidia Palys homered twice, while Julia Ligor drove in three runs as Lexington defeated Belmont 10-1 in the Middlesex League.

    GIRLS LACROSSE

    Mayson Lower finished with five goals, including her 100th career goal, and three assists to lead Nantucket to a 14-3 victory over Martha’s Vineyard. Maddie Lombardi added three goals for the Whalers.

    In the Catholic Central League, Clare Latham netted five goals while Avery Texiera and Emily Berube added four goals each as Bishop Feehan defeated Archbishop Williams, 17-11.

    Maisie Leland scored three goals, reaching the 100-goal mark for her career, as Hamilton-Wenham defeated St. Mary’s 19-11 in a nonleague goal. Avery Nistl led the way for the Generals with six goals.
