In the South Shore League, Gavan Biggins scored five times, TJ DiMario added four and David Kane netted a hat trick as Rockland (13-5) tripled up Middleboro, 15-5, in boys lacrosse action. The win was No. 100 for Bulldogs head coach Dave Taylor, who started the program in 2014.
Colin Carfagna and Jayson Kelleher had four tallies and 2 assists each while Jakey Costa and Corey Herbert each scored a pair as Bridgewater-Raynham (9-9) topped nonleague opponent Newton South 13-6.
Girls lacrosse
In the Bay State Conference, Bella Duffy broke the program’s goal scoring record with seven to bring her total to 282 as Braintree edged Milton 9-8. Grace Reinold (2018) held the previous goal-scoring mark for the Wamps.
Boys volleyball
In nonleague action, seniors Nadav Vachtel (17 digs, 12 kills, two aces) and Alessandro Luciani (11 kills, seven digs two aces) paced the offense as Lexington (18-2) defeated Acton-Boxboro 3-1.
