    Amelia Stroud netted a hat trick, and Carly Hartman dished three assists as Chelmsford pulled away for a 6-0 Merrimack Valley Conference field hockey win over Haverhill.

    Addison Shumsky notched a hat trick and an assist, while Molly McDermott added two goals as Central Catholic (2-6-1) took down Dracut, 6-0. … Langstyn Vasques had two goals while Gracen Branco, Katie Abreau, and Ruby Martin each had one as Apponequet defeated Fairhaven 5-0 in a South Coast Conference game.

    In the Cape and Islands League, Quinn Jordan netted a hat trick as Sandwich (8-0) blanked Falmouth 3-0.

    Ciara Maloney (two goals) and Ava Cortis scored for Medway in a 3-1 Tri-Valley League win over Ashland. … Julianna Casucci sniped six goals, four of them assisted by Amelia Flood, as Uxbridge topped Doherty 8-0 in a nonleague win.

    Boys soccer

    In a nonleague contest, Kayson Aredes and Kaiky Araujo scored as Rockland (6-3) secured a huge 2-1 win over Catholic Memorial. … Brett Amorosino scored twice, and Ben Garland and Jake McGuirk chipped in with a goal each as Norwell defeated Braintree, 4-1.

    Stoyan Popov (two goals) and Anderson Diaz hit the back of the net for Nantucket (5-3) in a 3-2 win over Sandwich.

    Girls soccer

    Bridget Precourt collected a goal and two assists as Arlington Catholic cruised over Northeast 6-0. … Quinn Anderson and Megan Jakubicka found the net, while Lane Kraihanzel got the clean sheet as Sandwich (6-2-1) beat Nantucket 2-0.

    In the Northeastern Conference, Olivia Ball earned the shutout in net as Peabody topped Winthrop 5-0. … UNH commit Kayla Smyrnios struck for four goals as Pingree rolled to a 9-0 NEPSAC win over Bancroft.

    Cassidy Conway netted the winner to give Sturgis West (4-3) a 4-3 come-from-behind victory over Sturgis East in Cape and Islands League action.

    Golf

    Landon Parco shot for 33 points, while Will Carlson carded 30 points as Rockport (9-3) clinched a tournament berth with a 174-167 Cape Ann League win over Triton.

    Shane Sullivan shot an even par for Abington (10-3) in a 138-125 nonleague win over South Shore Voke.

    Volleyball

    Gwen Watson (16 kills) and Valor McGrath (seven kills, 31 assists) paced the offense for BB&N (4-0) in a 3-0 Independent School League win over Nobles.

    Julie Hall (16 kills, 17 digs), Sydney Faria (12 kills, 15 service points) and Madison Blanchett (33 assists) led the way for Central Catholic (9-2) in a 3-0 Merrimack Valley Conference win over Tewksbury. … Meghan Downs collected 21 service points, helping Billerica earn a 3-0 win over Lawrence.

    Colbie Adams floored 29 kills and five aces, while Riley Hannon had 22 assists, three kills and two aces as Calvary Chapel defeated Holbrook 3-1 in a nonleague matchup. … Leah Daley and Brooke Steele recorded nine kills each for Whitman-Hanson (3-6) in a 3-1 win over Norwell. … Amelia Burgoyne tallied eight assists, four kills and eight aces as Notre Dame (Hingham) (7-2) swept Scituate, 3-0. … Ellie LeDuc and Gabby Vigeant registered 11 kills apiece as Newburyport (7-3) edged Bishop Fenwick, 3-2.
