MacCormack rushed for a career-best 155 yards and three touchdowns on 20 carries at Georgia Tech (10/24) in week eight. The three-touchdown performance marked the first multi-touchdown game of his career. The Westford, Mass. native has four touchdowns in 2026, which is tied for second on the team.
In addition, MacCormack was the starting running back for an offense that rushed for 399 yards, the most rushing yards the Eagles have accumulated since rushing for 496 yards at Syracuse on November 2, 2019. Boston College finished with 500 yards of total offense on Saturday.
For the twelfth straight year, the Jack Grinold/Eastern Massachusetts Chapter of the National Football Foundation is the presenting sponsor for both the weekly and end-of-year Gold Helmet Awards presented to student-athletes from FBS, FCS, Division II and Division III institutions throughout New England. The awards will be presented at the NEFW Captains and Awards Banquet on December 10 at the Renaissance Framingham Hotel & Conference Center.
