CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Football placed four players on the 2026 Athlon Sports Preseason ACC All-Conference Team, as tight end Kaelan Chudzinski, defensive back KP Price, running back Evan Dickens and kicker Luca Lombardo earned recognition from the publication, it was announced Wednesday.
Chudzinski emerged as one of the nation’s top freshman tight ends in 2025, appearing in all 12 games with two starts. He finished the season with 24 receptions for 313 yards and four touchdowns. His 24 catches and 313 receiving yards led all freshman tight ends nationally, while his four touchdown receptions tied for the most among freshmen at the position.
Price enters his fourth season on The Heights after earning All-ACC Second Team honors and serving as a team captain in 2025. A fixture in the Eagles secondary, he has started each of Boston College’s last 25 games, compiling 179 tackles, nine pass breakups, four interceptions and one fumble recovery over the past two seasons.
Dickens joined the Eagles in January following one season at Liberty and two at Georgia Tech. One of the nation’s most productive running backs in 2025, the Marietta, Ga., native rushed for 1,339 yards and 16 touchdowns. He ranked fifth nationally in rushing yards, fourth in rushing touchdowns and third with 121.7 rushing yards per game. Dickens also averaged 127.7 all-purpose yards per game, seventh nationally, and 9.3 points per game, ranking 10th in the country.
Lombardo enters his third season with the Eagles after putting together one of the ACC’s top kicking campaigns in 2025. Following a 2024 season limited to four games because of injury, the Westport, Conn., native connected on 16 of 17 field-goal attempts and converted all 35 extra-point tries to earn Lou Groza Award semifinalist honors.
