Seven radio and TV professionals have been named to the latest Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame class.

The announcement was made by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association on June 4 during a program at the Renaissance Hotel and Conference Center in Framingham to an audience of approximately 260 attendees. The Hall of Fame currently has more than 175 members.

“Our inductees share an inherent passion for their craft. They have distinguished themselves with their achievements and by their talents,” Peter Brown, MBHOF committee chairman, said in a release.

    This year’s inductees include:

    • Barbara Dacey, retired program director and director of worldwide programming for WMVY(FM). She retired in 2018 after 32 years on-air and behind the scenes at MVYRadio on Martha’s Vineyard, where she was recognized for maintaining an independent, eclectic and community-oriented sound.

    • Jordan Rich, long-time former host of “The Jordan Rich Show” on WBZ(AM). Though he retired in July 2016, he still files a variety of cultural and celebrity interview segments for WBZ. He is also the co-owner of Chart Productions and has voiced more than 1,000 voiceovers.

    • Clark Booth, the late reporter for WCVB(TV) in Boston.

    • Steve Burton, sports director for WBZ(TV) and WSBK(TV) in Boston.

    • Jack Edwards, longtime TV play-by-play announcer for the Boston Bruins.

    • Michael Garfetti, retired photographer and news director of WWLP(TV) in Springfield.

The Massachusetts Broadcasters Hall of Fame also honored its co-founder and first president, the late Arthur J. Singer, who was posthumously recognized with the association’s Pioneer Award.
