Nebraska men’s basketball hosted forward Boden Kapke on Tuesday. The Boston College transfer averaged 10.6 points and 5.7 rebounds per game last season. He measures in at six-foot-11, 255 pounds.

Kapke played two seasons at Butler from 2023 to 2025, where he made 16 starts as a sophomore, before transferring to Boston College. It was a top candidate for the ACC Most Improved Player Award, as he averaged over 20 points per game during the final month of the season.

The Huskers are still looking for a big man, with Boise State transfer Drew Fielder having visited Washington over the weekend. Kapke would certainly be another solid option for the Huskers, given his size and length. He can also shoot and score inside.

Nothing is certain or guaranteed in the transfer portal. With that being said, it’s clear that the Huskers are exploring all their options.
