    For the dozens of high school students participating in the Globe’s unique sports photojournalism program, this week brings the biggest event of the fall season: Thanksgiving football.

    But while they wait for the photo feast, they found this to be a good time to serve up tasty leftovers from the fall season. As such, below are more than 40 high school sports pictures of the fall season — from this past weekend’s state championship games all the way back to games played on Labor Day.

    If any high school student in Massachusetts would like to take part in this free photojournalism program, all they need do is fill out this simple form here to get started.
