Grady Pfefferkorn, Acton-Boxborough — With a share of the Dual County League Baker title at stake, the senior captain came through in all phases with 12 tackles, including three for loss, an interception in the red zone, two returns for 45 yards, and 105 rushing yards with a touchdown to pace a 23-7 win at Newton South.
Stephon Reed, Franklin — The senior amassed over 200 all-purpose yards with a touchdown on 12 total touches (5 receptions, 4 carries, 3 returns) in a 28-14 win over Hockomock Kelley-Rex rival Milford.
Joey Saratella, Needham — Seniors Owen Gonzalez (47 yards, TD) and Tyler Langford (28 yards, TD) finished scoring drives after Saratella sparked the Rockets with big runs of 33 and 45 yards, finishing with 135 yards on 18 carries in a 15-11 win over Framingham.
Chris Vargas, St. John’s Prep — Saturday marked sweet redemption for the sophomore quarterback after absorbing a 34-0 loss at Catholic Memorial last season. Vargas completed 20 of 29 passes for 268 yards and four touchdowns, leading several long drives to keep the opposing offense sidelined during much of the Eagles’ 43-28 victory.
Division 2
Erik Knight, Billerica — The junior powered the Indians (5-3) with 120 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 12 carries in their 34-32 Merrimack Valley triumph over Methuen.
Andrew Orphanos, Bishop Feehan — The scrappy, 5-foot-9-inch senior tailback executed scoring plays of 2, 5, and 8 yards as the No. 12 Shamrocks (7-1) defeated Taunton, 31-14, in a nonleague contest Thursday.
Matthew Tasker, Ryan Gallagher, Lincoln-Sudbury — Tasker rumbled for 153 yards, and touchdown runs of 1, 10, 19, and 26 yards on 23 carries for the visiting Warriors in a 35-0 Dual County League Thorpe shutout of Wayland. Gallagher went 5 for 5 on extra points and registered three tackles and an interception.
Leo Steinberg, Quincy — The senior running back/strong safety sprinted for touchdowns of 26 and 70 yards, and a returned a fumble 51 yards for a score in the second quarter to lift the Presidents to a 27-0 Patriot League win against Pembroke.
Division 3
Matt Khrakovsky and Brady Shuffain, Sharon— The receiver and quarterback combo were in lockstep for the Eagles in a 46-6 rout of Fitchburg. Khrakovsky, a senior, had 14 touches for 207 yards from scrimmage and scored three touchdowns with a pair of 2-point conversions and Shuffain, a junior, completed 16 of 25 passes for 381 yards and four scores.
Patrick Mason, Milton — In a 21-14 victory over Natick in a battle of Bay State heavyweights, the senior returned a punt 82 yards to give the Wildcats their first lead before hauling in the winning 29-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter from Patrick Collins.
J.T. Reale, Hingham — The junior amassed 157 yards from scrimmage, including 113 rushing yards, and scored three times for the Harbormen in a 40-7 victory over Silver Lake.
Nick Torres, North Attleborough — For the second time this season, the senior booted a walkoff field goal for the Red Rocketeers, this time from 29 yards out in a 17-14 Hockomock win over Foxborough.
Xavier Vicente, Stoughton — A force on both sides of the ball, the senior rushed for 105 yards and a touchdown on top of recording three sacks and 12 total tackles, including four for a loss for the Black Knights in a 27-14 win over Oliver Ames.
Division 4
Chris DiMeo, Scituate — The Sailors totaled four first-half interceptions in a 21-7 triumph over Hanover on Thursday, including two from the senior, highlighted by a 35-yard pick-six late in the half.
Nate Hicks, Bristol Plymouth — The senior racked up 20 carries for 253 yards and four touchdowns, along with a 2-point conversion, blocked punt, and five tackles for loss, as the Craftsmen cruised past Old Colony, 39-6.
Jake Marcell, Canton — Marcell, a senior, provided a pivotal 81-yard pick-six in the fourth quarter — plus 140 receiving yards and a touchdown — helping the Bulldogs prevail, 28-16, for their first victory over Mansfield since 1990.
Guilherme Martins, Medford — Medford blanked Saugus, 14-0, on Thursday, behind 130 rushing yards and a score, a 2-point conversion, three punts, 11 tackles (three for loss), and a sack from the senior Martins.
Austin Rodenhiser, Holliston — Rodenhiser, a senior, contributed 13 carries for 156 yards and all five Holliston touchdowns in a dominant 33-0 Tri-Valley effort against Dedham.
Division 5
Cameron and Jake Banda, Shawsheen — The brothers dominated in a 42-0 win over Greater Lowell, totaling five touchdowns and nearly 200 rushing yards. Cameron took four carries for 137 yards and three scores while Jake scored twice and took four carries for 49 yards.
Will Bush, Swampscott — The Big Blue (6-2) cruised to a 33-0 win over Salem behind 124 rushing yards and four touchdowns from the senior back.
Brady McCormack, Medfield — After breaking the program’s career touchdown and rushing records the past two weeks, the senior continued his dominant season in a 30-12 win over Norton. He returned a kickoff 95 yards for a score, tallied 221 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Division 6
Chase Buoniconti, Lynnfield — The junior rushed for 100 yards and two touchdown on five carries and also delivered five tackles in a 35-14 Cape Ann win over Hamilton-Wenham.
Sean Dolen, Winthrop — The senior returned the opening kickoff of the second half 78 yards for a touchdown in a 7-6 Northeastern win over Gloucester.
Andrew Kiricoples, Bishop Fenwick — In a 34-6 Catholic Central win over Arlington Catholic, the sophomore signal caller threw for 192 yards and two touchdowns and added a third score on the ground.
Aaron Lague, Fairhaven — The two-way starter ran for two touchdowns and recovered a fumble in a 46-10 South Coast win over Joseph Case.
Julian Martins, Wilmington — The junior tailback ran for over 100 yards and three scores in the Wildcats 26-10 Middlesex win over Watertown.
Division 7
Gus Greene, Cohasset — The senior found the end zone on rushing scores of 1, 8, and 15 yards to guide the Skippers in a 33-0 South Shore win over Mashpee.
Tyler Holmes, West Bridgewater — The senior finished with a pair of touchdowns and 150 yards of offense, including 113 on the ground, to propel the Wildcats past nonleague foe Carver, 28-0.
Tyson Kimbrough-Farmer and Mikey McDonagh, Blue Hills — Kimbrough-Farmer, a senior, rushed for a 20-yard touchdown and returned a fumble recovery 100 yards for a score, while his classmate, McDonagh, rushed for three touchdowns to lift the Warriors to a 62-22 Mayflower victory over Southeastern.
Joe Puleo, Amesbury — The junior rushed for touchdowns of 51, 33, and 2 yards and finished with 124 yards on 10 carries to help the Redhawks capture their first Cape Ann title since 2022 with a 40-0 rout of Manchester Essex.
Division 8
Zack Deschenes, Nashoba Valley Tech — In a game that started Friday, suspended in the second quarter (power outage), and resumed Saturday afternoon, the versatile senior scored on runs of 8, 11, 30, and 57 yards in a 43-20 Commonwealth win over Lynn Tech.
Manuel Miranda & Marcus Gangemi, English High — Miranda, a senior, rushed for 181 yards and two scores on 12 carries and Gangemi, a junior, churned out 89 yards on eight carries in a narrow 22-20 Boston City League win over O’Bryant.
Mekhi White, Randolph — The senior had 152 rushing yards and a pair of scores as the Blue Devils (8-0) finished the regular season unbeaten for the first time this century with a 48-23 nonleague road win against Roxbury Prep.
Preps
Ellis Barnes, BB&N — Committed to Columbia, the senior stood out in a stifling defensive effort, coming away with two interceptions and seven tackles in a 17-7 win at St. Paul’s.
Frankie Forrest, Middlesex — The senior scored four touchdowns in three different ways in a 40-12 win over Groton, finding the end zone twice on the ground, once through the air, and again on a 60-yard punt return. He totaled 200 yards rushing.
Jalen Morris, Rivers — The junior burst his way to 259 yards rushing on 23 carries for the Red Wings in a 47-6 victory over Governor’s Academy.
