    Freshman Cesar Choco started his first game at right tackle and freshman Ish Ramirez made a major impact at linebacker.

    “No one gave us a chance last year [against Everett] but we shocked them,” said Cicatelli. “They’re not the same Everett, but the bottom line is, it’s hard to do, so I’m really proud of our guys, especially because this team is so young. They really rose to the occasion and I’ll remember this one forever.”

    Archbishop Williams 22, Cathedral 0 — Hudson Garrity ran for a pair of touchdowns and connected with Martin McDonagh through the air for a 13-yard scoring strike as the No. 20 Bishops (8-0) earned a nonleague road win.

    Apponequet 8, Somerset Berkley 6 — Quarterback Paxton Canessa connected with Matt Dubois through the air for an 8-yard touchdown and Dubois punched in the 2-point conversion as the visiting Lakers (1-7) earned their first win of the season in a South Coast Blue tilt.

    Bedford 21, Waltham 12 — Junior quarterback Sylar Pimentel rushed for a pair of touchdowns, including a 40-yarder in the first quarter to spot the Bucs (6-2, 5-0) a 21-0 lead they would not relinquish. Bedford finished undefeated in the DCL Thorpe and secured a seventh straight winning season.

    Blue Hills 62, Southeastern 22 — Tyson Kimbrough-Farmer fueled a 46-point first half with a 20-yard scoring run and a 100-yard scoop-and-score off a fumble recovery for the visiting Warriors (5-3) in the Mayflower Vocational Large win. Mikey McDonagh had three rushing scores and a pair of 2-point conversions.

    Canton 28, Mansfield 16 — Jake Marcell hauled in a go-ahead 27-yard touchdown pass in the second quarter and returned a pick-6 81 yards for what stood as the winner in the fourth quarter for the visiting Bulldogs (6-2, 2-2) in a Hockomock Davenport win over the ninth-ranked Hornets (5-3, 3-1).

    Chicopee 34, Northampton 8 — Josh Cintron rushed for two scores and tossed a touchdown to secure a Suburban League victory for the Pacers (5-3). Jeremiah Berrios returned a kick 63 yards for a score.

    Danvers 21, Marblehead 7 — Two touchdowns and 165 yards rushing from Zach Fultz made the difference, powering the Falcons (6-2) to a Northeastern road win. Nate Wise added a TD.

    Dighton-Rehoboth/Bristol Aggie 19, Greater New Bedford 14 — Cooper Benfeito rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown to lead the Falcons (4-4) to a South Coast Conference victory. Brodie Henriques added an interception and a pass breakup on defense.

    Doherty 31, Tantasqua 0 — Richard Darko Antwi took a pick-6 85 yards and Jayden Orhin followed with a 65-yard punt for a score, fueling a 21-point second quarter as the host Highlanders (4-4) closed in on a Division 3 playoff spot with the victory. Andre Perkins added scoring runs of 2 and 10 yards.

    English High 22, O’Bryant 20 — Manuel Miranda rushed for 181 yards on 12 carries and Marcus Gangemi tacked on 89 yards on eight carries in a Boston City League win for the Eagles (4-4).

    Franklin 28, Milford 14 — Trailing by 7 entering the second half, the Panthers (5-3) scored 21 unanswered points to secure a Hockomock League win. Ethan Edmunds completed 15 of 21 passes for 168 yards and two passing touchdowns, and Stephon Reede recorded 203 all-purpose yards with a 40-yard rushing touchdown.

    Hingham 40, Silver Lake 7 — Junior J.T. Reale (158 all-purpose yards) had a 22-yard TD catch in the second quarter and put the game out of reach with a pair of scores in the fourth quarter, a 92-yard dash and a 22-yard end-around as the Harbormen (6-2, 4-1 SSL Keenan) topped Silver Lake (2-6, 1-4). Justin Kosierowski added 118 rushing yards and two touchdowns and Chase Beighley finished with 143 all-purpose yards and a score.

    Latin Academy 20, Brighton 0 — Jack Shapiro threw a 15-yard touchdown pass to Adam McGarr in the second quarter and punched in a 3-yard keeper in the fourth as the Dragons (7-1, 3-0 BCL) clinched the Boston City League title.

    Lynnfield 35, Hamilton-Wenham 14 — Quarterback Spencer Brown (11-for-15 passing, 130 yards) connected with wideout Dan Lemieux (5 receptions, 85 yards) for a pair of touchdowns, including a 56-yard score. Chase Buoniconti broke away for a 59- and 65-yard scoring scampers as the Rockets (2-6) earned the Cape Ann Baker road win.

    Milton 21, Natick 14 — Patrick Mason returned a punt 82 yards for a touchdown and later caught the winning 29-yard touchdown strike from Patrick Collins for the 18th-ranked Wildcats (7-1, 2-1) in a Bay State crossover win over the fifth-ranked Redhawks (6-2, 3-0).

    Newton North 20, Braintree 0 — Freddy Torcasio threw for scores of 15 and 16 yards to secure a Bay State Conference triumph for the Tigers (4-4). Milo Schneider reeled in four passes for 86 yards and a touchdown, and Mark Tempesta Jr. returned an interception 38 yards for a score.

    North Attleborough 17, Foxborough 14 — Nick Torres sunk a 29-yard field goal as time expired to seal a Hockomock League win for the No. 16 Red Rocketeers (5-2). Milo House caught a 22-yard touchdown pass from Dylan Brousseau and Frankie Strachan ran one in from 2 yards out. Cam DeLeskey ran for two scores for No. 11 Foxborough (6-2).

    Reading 34, Woburn 14 — Will Chute threw for three first-half touchdown passes and rushed for a score in the third quarter for the Rockets (4-4, 3-2) in a Middlesex Liberty win over the Tanners (4-4, 2-2). Jayden Gomes ran for touchdowns of 33 and 19 yards and Dom Pate scored twice, once on a 19-yard catch and once on a 25-year run.

    Stoneham 12, Melrose 7 — Daniel Staffieri found the end zone twice in a Middlesex League win for the visiting Spartans (6-2).

    Tewksbury 41, Andover 14 — The No. 13 Redmen (8-0) erupted for 34 points in the first half with Jonny Sullivan breaking a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown, and Ben Christopher ripping off a 78-yard touchdown run. Christopher finished with 125 rushing yards and added a touchdown pass and Sullivan tallied six receptions for 85 yards with an interception as Tewksbury completed its first undefeated regular season since 2016.

    Wilmington 26, Watertown 10 — Julian Martins scored three times on the ground and topped 100 yards rushing for the Wildcats (6-2, 3-2) in a Middlesex Freedom win over the Raiders (2-6, 0-5). Ayden Bellevy had two interceptions for Wilmington in the road triumph.

    Winthrop 7, Gloucester 6 — After a 78-yard kickoff return by Sean Dolen gave the Vikings (3-5) their only score of the game, a big defensive stand on a Hail Mary attempt secured the Northeastern win over Gloucester (6-2). The long pass was tipped by the Winthrop defense into the hands of Gloucester’s Cam Olsen, who was tackled 2 yards short of the end zone as time expired.
