If the World Series got to Game 6, the Toronto Blue Jays were going to make MLB history.

The World Series will get to Game 6.

The Blue Jays ensured that with their 6-2 win on Tuesday night over the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 4, tying the series 2-2.

Game 5 will be in L.A. before the teams fly to Toronto for Game 6, and potentially Game 7.

An MLB season has never been bookended by international games. This one will be.

The regular season began in Tokyo, Japan. That’s where the Dodgers took on the Chicago Cubs in the first couple games of the 2025 campaign.

And now the season will come to an end in Canada.

It seemed like it might not go this way after the Blue Jays failed to win the 18-inning marathon in Game 3. That crushing loss could’ve been enough for any team to wilt and just fall off.

    Instead, Toronto responded.

Their hero, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., launched an early two-run home run off Shohei Ohtani in Game 4. That was a 2-1 lead most of the way before a four-run seventh broke it open.

The Blue Jays will still be considered the underdogs.

The Dodgers send Blake Snell to the mound in Game 5 against the rookie Trey Yesavage. Both guys got hit around a bit in Game 1.

But no matter what happens in Game 5, the Blue Jays ensured one thing: This series is going back to Toronto. One way or the other, it’ll end there.
