    Inclement Weather Shortens First Round of Quinnipiac Classic

    Inclement Weather Shortens First Round of Quinnipiac Classic

    HAMPDEN, Mass. – The first round of action at the Quinnipiac Classic was suspended due to inclement weather. Boston College sits in a four-way tie for second at 12-over par through nine holes.
     
    Graduate student Cynthia Zhang and junior Frances Kim lead the way for the Eagles, logging a card score of 2-over to tie for 10th place. Freshman Joyce Zhang, playing as an individual, is also tied for 10th place.
     
    Behind them are sophomore Jenna Shilts and junior Sophie Bierstorfer in a tie for 20th place at 4-over par, and graduate student Tiffany Cao at 8-over par for 54th place.
     
    Round one will conclude tomorrow morning, followed by the second and final 18 holes. The Quinnipiac Classic will play two rounds instead of the three originally scheduled.
