The end of the school year is a time of memories. For those affiliated with high school sports in Massachusetts — the athletes, coaches, parents, and fans across the state — they can be thankful the Globe’s high school photojournalism program helped capture so many of them.

Nearly 200 students from more than 115 Massachusetts high schools were able to contribute to this unique (and free) photo program in 2025-26. Throughout the school year, their submitted work was used to supplement the Globe’s online high school coverage.

Down below, work from more than 40 students is on display, representing the best of spring sports, with pictures of baseball and softball, lacrosse and volleyball, tennis and track, rugby and sailing, and even some basketball and football, too.

We thank the students for all of their hard work in this program, as well as through their school newspapers, yearbooks, websites, and social media.

There will be one more photo gallery published next week . . . the best of the entire school year, 2025-26!
