CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College lacrosse senior defender Shea Baker was named an IWLCA Second-Team All-American, as the All-American teams were announced on Thursday.

It’s the second time in her career she was recognized by the Association, and the third All-American list she’s made this season with USA Lacrosse Magazine and Inside Lacrosse.

Baker was an All-ACC First Team selection after leading the team with a team-best 28 caused turnovers and 29 ground balls, while she ranked with 39 draw controls.

The Ithaca, N.Y., native ranked ninth in the ACC in caused turnovers and recorded multiple caused turnovers in eight contests, highlighted by four against California and Loyola Maryland.

Baker concluded her career with 91 caused turnovers, 96 ground balls, and 170 draw controls – ninth in school history, while adding 20 goals and nine assists for 29 points.

In her time at BC, the Eagles won a pair of ACC titles, a national championship, two national title appearances, and three NCAA Semifinal berths.
