BRIGHTON, Mass. – No. 23 Boston College baseball (36-20, 17-13) dropped the regular season finale to No. 3 Georgia Tech (45-9, 25-5) on Saturday afternoon, falling by a score of 15-2. The Eagles set a new attendance record with 2,828 fans at Harrington Athletics Village and cap off the greatest regular season in program history, tying the regular season wins record with 36 and a program-best 17-13 ACC record.
The Yellow Jackets jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the first inning.
Kyle Wolff opened the scoring for the Eagles in the bottom half of the first inning, sending two runners across the plate after hitting a bases-loaded double down the left field line.
Georgia Tech scored 10-straight runs to take a 15-2 lead after the seventh.
