Andre Agassi, Anna Leigh Waters team up at US Open Pickleball Championships

Tennis legend Andre Agassi and pickleball star Anna Leigh Waters describe how they formed their partnership for the US Open Pickleball Championships.

Some of the top professional players in the world, along with thousands of amateurs, will be competing in the 10th annual U.S. Open Pickleball Championships. Matches begin April 11 at East Naples Community Park.

CBS Sports Network will broadcast the tournament from noon to 6 p.m. on April 17 and will show all of the pro finals live from 5 to 9 p.m. on April 18.

Here’s a look at some of the top male and female players scheduled to compete at the 2026 US Open Pickleball Championships.

A 2023 graduate of Fort Myers High School, the 20-year-old Camron is among the top-ranked men’s singles players on the APP Tour. He won silver in the men’s singles at the AARP Open in Seattle in March.

A former professional tennis player, the 42-year-old DeHeart is married to women’s pickleball star Megan Fudge. He has 308 career pickleball wins and is among the top-ranked singles players on the APP Tour.

The 31-year-old French native is a former Division 1 tennis player and now a top player on the PPA Tour. The 47-time career medalist made his pro pickleball debut in 2019 at the US Open Pickleball Championships in Naples.

A former tennis player for the University of Illinois, the 37-year-old Fudge started playing pickleball in 2021. Since then, she’s built herself into one of the sport’s top players, winning 80 medals in the past three seasons. Last year, she was a double gold medalist at the US Open, capturing the women’s singles and mixed doubles championships.

A former Naples resident, the 46-year-old Jardim is one of the sport’s all-time greatest players with more than 30 PPA titles. The Pickleball Hall of Famer is still among the top-ranked PPA doubles players and will team up with former University of North Carolina field hockey player Amanda Hendry at the US Open.

A former college lacrosse player from New Jersey, the 23-year-old Livornese has more than 250 career victories and is ranked in the APP Tour’s top 10 for both men’s singles and doubles.

The 21-year-old is a pickleball prodigy, becoming the youngest player to reach a 5.0 rating in the sport at just 12. He won 20 medals on the APP Tour in 2025 and is the APP’s No. 1-ranked doubles player. Munro won the men’s doubles title at last year’s US Open and teamed with Megan Fudge to win the mixed doubles crown. He is also studying economics at the University of Texas.

A former Boise State University tennis player, the 30-year-old Hawaii native has nearly 350 victories and is a top-5-ranked singles and doubles player on the APP Tour.

A former pro tennis player whose career was cut short by knee injuries, the 25-year-old Sewing started playing pickleball in 2024. She has 125 career victories and is the top-ranked singles player on the APP Tour.

The 19-year-old pickleball phenom is the world’s No. 1-ranked player in singles, doubles and mixed doubles. Waters, who turned pro at age 12, has won more than 180 gold medals and 39 triple crowns while dominating on the MLP and PPA tours. At the 2025 US Open Championships, she formed a mixed doubles team with tennis legend Andre Agassi, who made his pro pickleball debut. While she and Agassi lost in the second round, Waters won the women’s doubles title, partnering with her mother Leigh Waters. Prior to arriving at this year’s US Open, she and Genie Bouchard will face Agassi and fellow tennis legend James Blake at The Pickleball Slam 4 in Hollywood, Florida on April 15 with a $1 million purse on the line. The pickleball “Battle of the Sexes” will be broadcast live on ESPN at 7 p.m.
