Experiencing a sports spectacular as vast as the Milan Cortina Olympics can feel a little overwhelming at times, from keeping up with Team USA’s world-class athletes to carving out time to watch each event play out on NBC and Peacock.

Luckily, help has arrived to make the 2026 Winter Olympics easier to navigate and enjoy.

NBCUniversal is harnessing the latest technology to deliver the second version of OLI, its AI-powered Olympic guide that was first introduced during the 2024 Paris Olympics. The goal is to make watching the Games and taking in all the info and stats as accessible as possible.

What is OLI, NBCUniversal’s AI-powered Olympic guide?

OLI combines the conversational power of AI with NBCU’s real-time U.S. programming information to answer core questions for Olympics fans such as when, where and how to watch their favorite events.

Available across 19 NBCU-owned digital properties, including NBCOlympics.com, NBCSports.com, NBC.com, Today.com, NBCNews.com, regional sports networks, and 11 local stations, the upgraded OLI experience, now available, will deliver a more natural and collaborative experience that gives fans deeper context and makes it easier than ever to connect with Olympic moments that matter the most to them.

The upgraded OLI experience was developed in partnership with the design and technology company Huge.

Using OLI is like having a personal concierge in Northern Italy, leading you to your preferred events during the 2026 Winter Olympics — all without leaving the comfort of your home.

“Our goal with OLI on NBCUniversal’s digital platforms is to help fans find up-to-the-minute answers to their Olympics questions, and to help them quickly get to the thousands of hours of coverage we have across NBC and Peacock,” Jenny Storms, NBCUniversal’s Chief Marketing Officer, Entertainment and Sports, said in a statement. “With OLI’s new capabilities, we’re transforming it beyond a discovery tool into a true viewing guide. From real-time medal counts and athlete profiles to personalized highlights and calendar reminders, OLI ensures fans can easily connect with the Olympic moments that matter most.”

Every event in the Games — yes, every one! — is streaming live and on-demand on Peacock.  And with features like Multiview and Rinkside Live, you’re not just watching the competition: You’re experiencing it. Here’s how:

    • Multiview: allows you to watch multiple live Olympic events on one screen simultaneously. With Discovery Multiview, you can watch up to four different sporting events at the same time. Meanwhile, Traditional Multiview showcases the action within one sport (e.g. curling or hockey), giving you a unique perspective.

    • Rinkside Live: offers a dynamic vertical view on your phone, plus live highlights and multiple camera angles, alongside the traditional broadcast. If you’re watching on your TV, tablet, or laptop, you can see all camera angles simultaneously via Rinkside.

    • Can’t Miss Highlights: available on the Peacock mobile app — where users can swipe through vertical stories, just like you would on Instagram — to get quick recaps of the Games or other big moments.

    • Gold Zone: provides “whip around” coverage of the biggest moments from the Winter Games, delivering live updates on all the happenings in Milan.

Sign up for Peacock now to make sure you’re not missing a second of the 2026 Winter Olympics. You can also gift the experience!
