Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate …. fans. All of you.

The classmate of the athletes who are loud and proud from start to finish of every game and dying to tell the opponent those dreaded four words, “Warm up the bus!” Your unique chants and crazy theme nights are a vital part of what makes high school sports special.

The alumni and townspeople who pay their $5 for a night of entertainment and a chance to see how the local team stacks up against your own team from 30 years ago.

And who could forget the parents and the grandparents in the stands, always ready with a hug after the game, win or lose. Is taking an athlete out for an ice cream after the game still a thing?

You are all a part of what makes high school sports tick. But who does it best? Which fan base in Ledgerland is the most passionate, enthusiastic, loudest, or most creative? We want to know what you think, so we are asking Patriot Ledger readers which fan base you think does it best.
