    Boston College Football Announces 2026 Transfer Portal Class

    CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College Head Football Coach Bill O’Brien announced the signing of the 2026 transfer portal class on Friday. O’Brien and his staff added 26 student-athletes during the newly established single transfer portal window. 

    O’Brien brought in 15 players on offense, nine on defense and two specialists. The Eagles signed 15 players from Power Four schools from the transfer portal. 

    “As college football continues to evolve and the landscape changes, we strategically used the transfer portal to complement our roster and address key needs,” said O’Brien. “We are excited to welcome these new players to Boston College as we continue building toward the 2026–27 season.”

    Demetrius Ballard 

    Defensive End • 6-6 • 240

    New Kensington, Pa. • Valley • Buffalo

    Demetrius Ballard enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after two years at Buffalo. In 2025, he played in 11 games at defensive end, totaling 12 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Ballard redshirted after his true freshman season in 2024 after playing in two games.

    Evan Dickens

    Running Back • 5-10 • 180

    Marietta, Ga. • IMG Academy • Georgia Tech • Liberty

    A running back who spent last season at Liberty, Evan Dickens joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. In 2025, Dickens rushed for over 1,300 yards and 16 touchdowns en route to Group of Five Second-Team All-American honors with the Flames. His 1,339 rushing yards ranked fifth in the country, and his 16 touchdowns were fourth-best nationally. After beginning the season third on Liberty’s running back depth chart, Dickens compiled six games with 100 or more rushing yards, and three games with 200 or more rushing yards. 

    Javarius Green

    Wide Receiver • 5-10 • 200

    Shelby, N.C. • Crest • North Carolina

    A wide receiver from North Carolina, Javarius Green joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. As a member of the Tar Heels, Green played in 16 career games, totaling 14 catches for 162 yards. On special teams, he lined up as a kick and punt returner in each of his two seasons in Chapel Hill, registering almost 200 yards on nearly 20 attempts. Green’s father, Willie, played nine seasons in the NFL and won two Super Bowls with the Denver Broncos. 

    Kameron Howard 

    Defensive Back • 5-11 • 195

    Clinton, Md. • St. Frances Academy • Charlotte • Alabama

    Kameron Howard enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after playing two seasons at Alabama. In six career games with the Crimson Tide on special teams and in the secondary, Howard totaled four tackles. Prior to his time in Tuscaloosa, Howard spent his true freshman season at Charlotte, where he recorded 38 tackles, two interceptions and one pass breakup. 

    Christian Hudson

    Defensive Line • 6-1 • 300

    Daytona Beach, Fla. • Mainland • Colorado

    Christian Hudson enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after spending his true freshman season at Colorado. He saw action in four games on the defensive line for the Buffaloes in 2025. In high school, Hudson was a four-year starter at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla., where he logged over 150 tackles, including 70 for loss. 

    Trevon Humphrey

    Offensive Line • 6-5 • 295

    Greensboro, N.C. • Dudley • North Carolina Central 

    Trevon Humphrey enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after most recently playing offensive line at North Carolina Central. In 36 career starts at tackle, Humphrey was a three-time All-MEAC selection and earned BOXTOROW All-America Honors in 2025. Last season, Humphrey was a First-Team selection after starting for an offense that led the conference in scoring (33.8 points per game) and ranked second in total offense (449.5 yards per game). In 2024, he also earned First-Team honors after anchoring an offense that led the conference in scoring (35.5 points per game) and rushing offense (180.8 yards per game). 

    Reggie Jackson

    Offensive Line • 6-5 • 290

    Orlando, Fla. • Lake Minneola • Jacksonville State 

    An offensive lineman from Jacksonville State, Reggie Jackson enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. He played in 14 games with 11 starts at right tackle, paving the way for Conference USA Player of the Year, running back Cam Cook, in 2025. Jackson started on an offensive line that helped Cook lead the conference in rushing yards (127.6 per game) and all-purpose yards (149.6 per game) this season. Jackson was critical in helping Cook rush for 100 yards and a touchdown in every regular season Conference USA game, grading out as the second-best Conference USA tackle this season, according to PFF. 

    Veguer Jean-Jumeau 

    Offensive Line • 6-8 • 290

    Nashville, Tenn. • Hillsboro • Tennessee State

    An offensive lineman from Tennessee State, Veguer Jean-Jumeau joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. Last season with the Tigers, he started all 12 games on the offensive line, paving the way for running back Kendric Rhymes, who totaled over 700 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns. Jean-Jumeau allowed just two sacks in 664 offensive snaps en route to All-OVC Honorable Mention and HBCU/Phil Steele Freshman All-American honors. Jean-Jumeau goes by the nickname “Juju.” 

    Kris Jones 

    LB • 6-2 • 240

    Stafford, Va. • Fairfax • Georgia 

    A linebacker who spent two years at Georgia, Kris Jones joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. As a member of the Bulldogs, Jones tallied seven tackles in 14 career games. A consensus four-star prospect out of high school, Jones was the number two overall player in the class of 2024 from the state of Virginia. 

    Chandler Jordan

    Defensive Back • 6-4 • 215

    Suwanee, Ga. • North Gwinnett • Georgia State

    A defensive back from Georgia State, Chandler Jordan joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. In 10 games with the Panthers during his true freshman season, Jordan recorded 14 tackles, including a career-high six tackles at Vanderbilt. In high school, he helped North Gwinnett win region championships in 2022 and 2024. 

    Bodie Kahoun

    Linebacker • 6-2 • 220

    Roanoke, Va. • Patrick Henry • Notre Dame

    A linebacker from Notre Dame, Bodie Kahoun joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. He saw action in 12 career games with the Fighting Irish at linebacker and on special teams, recording a pair of tackles. An All-Region and All-District linebacker in high school, Kahoun totaled a school-record 203 tackles as a senior in 2023 at Patrick Henry High School in Roanoke, Va. 

    Cameron Kossmann 

    Tight End • 6-5 • 240

    St. Louis, Mo. • Marquette • Florida

    Cameron Kossmann enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after spending his true freshman season at Florida, playing in one game. A consensus three-star prospect out of high school, Kossmann totaled 35 receptions for 408 yards and four touchdowns at Marquette High School in Chesterfield, Mo. 

    Bryce LaFollette 

    Punter • 6-3 • 210

    Chesapeake Beach, Md. • Huntingtown • Virginia Tech • Towson

    Bryce LaFollette is set to join the Boston College Football program after spending the previous two seasons at Towson. As a member of the Tigers in 2025, he punted 49 times, averaging 43.5 yards per punt, which was second in the CAA. He had 11 punts of over 50 yards and placed 20 punts inside the 20 yard line en route to CAA All-Conference Second-Team honors. LaFollette was also a semifinalist for the William V. Campbell Trophy, given to the best scholar-athlete in the nation for combined academic success, football performance and exemplary leadership. Upon graduation from Towson in June, LaFollette will join the program. 

    Mason McKenzie

    Quarterback • 6-1 • 190

    Caledonia, Mich. • Caledonia • Saginaw Valley State

    Mason McKenzie enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after most recently competing at Saginaw Valley State. He earned GLIAC Freshman of the Year honors in 2024 after throwing for over 2,000 yards and 14 touchdowns and adding nearly 700 yards and six touchdowns on the ground. Last season, McKenzie threw for almost 2,100 yards and 17 touchdowns with nearly 1,000 rushing yards and ten touchdowns on the ground en route to Conference Player of the Year honors. 

    Justin Medlock

    Linebacker • 6-0 • 225

    Houston, Texas • Manvel • Utah • SMU

    Justin Medlock joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after spending the last two seasons at SMU. He played in eight games at linebacker last season, totaling 25 tackles, one sack, and a 96-yard interception he returned for a touchdown vs. Stanford. Medlock appeared in 10 games on special teams in his first season at SMU in 2024. Prior to his time in Dallas, he played in 15 games in two seasons at Utah, recording nine tackles. 

    Jani Norwood

    Offensive Line • 6-4 • 335 

    Asheboro, N.C. • Eastern Randolph • North Carolina

    Jani Norwood arrives at The Heights after spending two seasons at North Carolina. Norwood played in six career games, including his first career start in the Wasabi Fenway Bowl in 2024. He was a member of the offensive line that paved the way for the Tar Heels to rush for over 100 yards vs. Duke in 2025. 

    John Owens 

    Long Snapper • 6-3 • 250 

    Tampa, Fla. • HB Plant • Holy Cross

     John Owens is set to join the Boston College Football program after playing four years at Holy Cross. He played in 33 career games for the Crusaders, totaling eight tackles. Owens earned Patriot League Academic Honor Roll recognition twice (2022, 2023) along with Academic All-District honors on two occasions (2023, 2024). Upon graduation from Holy Cross in June, Owens will join the program. 

    Anthony Palano

    Linebacker • 6-1 • 230

    Arlington Heights, Ill. • Buffalo Grove • South Dakota State • Washington State

    A linebacker from Washington State, Anthony Palano joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. Last season with the Cougars, he played in 12 games with seven starts at linebacker, registering 65 tackles, four quarterback hurries and two pass breakups. In one season at South Dakota State prior to his time at Washington State, Palano played in six games as a reserve linebacker. 

    Kristian Phillips 

    Offensive Line • 6-4 • 320 

    Conyers, Ga. • Salem • Michigan State 

    Kristian Phillips joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. An offensive lineman from Michigan State, Phillips played in 18 career games for the Spartans. In 2025, Phillips played in six games with four starts at right guard, paving the way for three games of 100+ rushing yards and one game of 400+ total yards of offense during that span. 

    Nolan Ray

    Running Back • 6-0 • 210

    Southfield, Mich. • Brother Rice • Maryland

    Nolan Ray enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after most recently playing at Maryland. With the Terrapins, Ray appeared in 25 games with three starts at running back, recording over 600 yards and four touchdowns. Prior to last season, Ray was named to the Doak Walker Award preseason watchlist. As a freshman in 2024, Ray was selected to the Shaun Alexander Freshman of the Year Award watchlist. 

    KJ Sampson

    Defensive Line • 6-3 • 305

    New Bern, N.C. • New Bern • Florida State 

    A defensive lineman from Florida State, KJ Sampson joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. In 2025, Sampson played in 10 games, totaling 11 tackles, including 1.5 for loss. In two seasons prior to 2025, Sampson played in 16 games, recording 15 tackles and one pass breakup. 

    Owen Snively

    Offensive Line • 6-4 • 295

    Fremont, N.H. • Tilton • Colorado State • Eastern Michigan

    An offensive lineman from Eastern Michigan, Owen Snively joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. He played in 11 games with 10 starts for the Eagles, paving the way for the second-best passing attack in the MAC. Additionally, running back Dontae McMillan totaled over 1,300 yards from scrimmage and seven touchdowns en route to All-MAC Second-Team honors behind Snively and the Eagles’ offensive line. 

    Reed Swanson

    Wide Receiver • 6-6 • 205

    Glen Gardner, N.J. • Wyoming Seminary • Colgate

    Reed Swanson joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. A wide receiver from Colgate, Swanson played in 23 career games, recording 78 catches for 1,171 yards and 12 touchdowns in three years of action. In 2025, he caught 57 passes for 939 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 16.5 yards per catch en route to All-Patriot League Second-Team honors. His 939 yards ranked fourth in the Patriot League, and his eight TDs were tied for second in the conference. 

    Jackson Wade 

    Wide Receiver • 6-0 • 175

    Dallas, Ga. • North Paulding • Florida

    Jackson Wade enters the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after most recently playing at Florida. With the Gators, he appeared in 16 career games on special teams and at wide receiver after initially joining the program as a walk-on before being placed on scholarship. 

    Grayson Wilson 

    Quarterback • 6-3 • 205

    North Little Rock, Ark. • Conway • Arkansas

    Grayson Wilson joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year after redshirting last season at Arkansas. A four-star prospect by ESPN from the class of 2024, he threw for over 1,500 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior in high school, leading Conway High School to an Arkansas 7A State Semifinal appearance. Prior to his senior season at Conway, Wilson passed for over 3,400 yards with 41 touchdowns while rushing for over 800 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior at the Central Arkansas Christian School. 

    Landon Wright

    Wide Receiver • 6-0 • 180 

    Fresno, Calif. • Clover West • Washington State

    A wide receiver from Washington State, Landon Wright joins the Boston College Football program at the mid-year. In 2025, Wright played in 11 games, totaling seven catches for 121 yards and two touchdowns, including a 39-yard touchdown reception in the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl.
