A private equity firm in Massachusetts has acquired a large, two-story industrial building in Stamford for $4.52 million, according to the city’s property transfer records.
35 Larkin Street Legacy LLC, controlled by Legacy Capital Ventures, bought the 36,000-square-foot structure, at 35 Larkin St., in early December. Calls to Legacy Capital Ventures, a Boston-based private equity and venture capital firm, were not returned.
The seller is Larkin Street Associates LLC, controlled by John Bovin LevineIt , of New Canaan.a It bought the property in 2002.
The building, which sits on a 0.77-acre parcel and was built in 1952, was appraised at $3.82 million and assessed at $2.67 million in 2023.
The building is occupied by NorthEast Electrical, which provides electrical products and services to contractors, according to Legacy Capital Ventures’ website. The private equity firm owns three other commercial properties in Connecticut in Bridgeport, Norwalk and Wallingford and another 46 properties across the U.S.
