Syracuse men’s basketball (12-5, 3-1 ACC) takes a three-game win streak on the road today at 2 p.m. for an ACC matchup against Boston College Eagles (7-10, 0-4 ACC) at Silvio O. Conte Forum in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

The Orange are coming off a 94-point outing in a home win over Florida State, their highest-scoring performance of the season. Syracuse has averaged 86.3 points during the current win streak, fueled by sophomore Donnie Freeman, who is averaging 23.0 points over his last four games and has topped 20 points in three straight. Freeman scored 25 points against Florida State, and Syracuse is 7-0 this season when he starts.

Offensively, the Orange have been efficient from deep and balanced across the lineup. Junior Naithan George leads the ACC in assists during conference play, while senior J.J. Starling and sophomore Tyler Betsey have provided perimeter scoring punch in recent wins.

Defensively, Syracuse allows just 66.9 points per game, the third-best mark in the ACC, and ranks second nationally in blocks per game. Senior William Kyle III anchors the interior with 49 blocks this season, most in the conference.

Boston College enters still seeking its first ACC win after dropping four straight. Despite the skid, the Eagles rank among the ACC’s better defensive teams and allow just 62.7 points per game at home. Donald Hand Jr. and Fred Payne pace the offense.

This marks the 88th meeting between the programs, with Syracuse holding a 60-27 all-time series advantage and sweeping last season’s matchups.
