CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The No. 15/15 Boston College men’s hockey team plays host to Notre Dame at Kelley Rink this Friday for the first time since the 2022-23 season. Friday’s game is slated for a 1:00 p.m. puck drop on NESN and ESPN+ along with a radio broadcast on WEEI 850 AM.
 
SETTING THE SCENE
• The Eagles moved to 7-5-1 overall and 5-3-0 in Hockey East after a weekend split against No. 10/11 Maine
• The Fighting Irish are 4-8-1 overall and 0-6-0 in B1G
• BC stayed put at No. 15 in both the USCHO.com and USA Hockey national polls
 
SPLIT WEEKEND
• BC split with Maine this past weekend, picking up a 7-3 win win on Friday before falling 3-0 on Saturday
Ryan Conmy and Teddy Stiga both finished with three points in the win
• It was the second-straight game Conmy had finished with three points
James Hagens scored two goals
Dean Letourneau had one goal and one assist
Lukas Gustafsson, Luka Radivojevic, and Jake Sondreal all posted two assists
Louka Cloutier finished with a career-high 35 saves
 
THE EAGLES
• J. Hagens and Sondreal are tied for the team lead in points with 13 apiece
• J. Hagens and Conmy both have a team-high six goals
• Radivojevic and Sondreal are tied for the most assists with eight
• Letourneau and Stiga are both in double digits for points with 11 and 10, respectively
• Cloutier has played in 11 games and has posted a 2.11 goals against average and a .914 save percentage
 
A LOOK AT NOTRE DAME
• The Fighting Irish are coming off a road win over Merrimack on Wednesday afternoon, defeating the Warriors by a score of 5-4
• Sutter Muzzatti and Paul Fischer are tied for the team lead in points with 12
• Muzzatti leads the team in goals with six
• Fischer with a team-high nine assists, while Cole Knuble has eight
• Nicholas Kempf has played all 13 games between the pipes, posting a .906 save percentage and a 3.07 goals against average
 
SERIES HISTORY
• The Eagles are 25-22-3 all-time against the Fighting Irish
• The two teams last met on Nov. 24, 2023 in South Bend, which ended in a 6-1 win for BC
• The last meeting at Kelley Rink ended in a 5-2 win for Notre Dame back on Nov. 25, 2022

• Alex Tuch (Buffalo) scored his eighth goal of the season on Sunday
• Mike Matheson (Montreal) had two assists on Saturday
• Cutter Gauthier (Anaheim) scored his 13th goal of the year on Saturday, tallying the overtime game-winner against the Golden Knights
 
UP NEXT
• BC closes out the semester with a home-and-home series against UMass Lowell next weekend. The two teams play at the Tsongas Center on Friday at 7:15 p.m. before closing out the season series on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at Kelley Rink. Both games will be available to watch on ESPN+.
