    » Boston College Football hosts #12 Notre Dame in the their first of three consecutive home games on Saturday, November 1 at 3:30 p.m. at Alumni Stadium.

    » The game will be televised on ESPN. Roy Philpott (play-by-play) and Brock Osweiler (analyst) are on the call with sideline reporter Stormy Buonantony.

    » Coverage on the Boston College Sports Network begins 30 minutes prior to kickoff on WEEI 93.7 FM. Jon Meterparel (play-by-play) is joined on the call by former BC linebacker Pete Cronan in the booth and Scott Mutryn on the sideline.

    EAGLES BY THE NUMBERS

    » Through eight games, Boston College has a top-30 passing offense in the nation, averaging 268.9 passing yards per game. Officially, the Eagles are 30th in the nation and 7th in the conference.

    » Lewis Bond ranks 6th in the country and 1st in the ACC in receptions per game, averaging 7.0 catches a game through eight games. Bond needs 20 catches to break Zay Flowers’ all-time reception record of 200 total receptions.

    » In addition, Bond is 4th in the conference in total receiving yards with 547.

    » Turbo Richard has seven total touchdowns through eight games, which ranks 6th in the ACC.

    » Kaelan Chudzinski’s 216 yards through eight games leads all freshman tight ends in the country.

    » Both Reed Harris and Chudzinski have three receiving touchdowns this season, which ranks top 15 in the ACC.

    » Harris’ 16.4 yards per reception ranks 12th among all ACC pass catchers.

    » With one defensive touchdown this season on a Bam Crouch pick-six vs. Fordham (8/30), Boston College ranks inside the top-35 nationally in defensive touchdowns, as well as in the top five in the ACC.

    » The Eagles have four fumble recoveries this season, which comes in at 7th in the conference.

    » Omar Thornton is 5th in the conference in forced fumbles per game, averaging just under one per contest.

    » Thornton’s 6.8 tackle-per-game average ranks in the top-15 in the ACC.

    » With one fumble recovered each this season, Owen McGowan, Charlie Comella, Isaiah Farris and KP Price rank in the top-45 nationally and in the top-six of the ACC.

    » KP Price averages 8 tackles per game, which is 7th in the ACC. Price’s two interception ranks 9th in the conference.   

    » Luca Lombardo is one of 8 kickers nationwide with a perfect field goal percentage, making all 11 of his attempts in eight games played.

    » Lombardo is 6th in the ACC in total points with 58, and 7th in field goals per game with 1.4.

    » As a team, Boston College allows 1.3 yards per punt return to opposing teams, ranking 8th in the country.
