In the nearly two years of the Globe’s sports photo journalism program, there have been hundreds of wonderful pictures submitted by high school students from across Massachusetts. However, there’s never before been a weekend like this one.

Two students from Somerset Berkley — senior Bryson Cain and sophomore Calder Troutman — combined to send in some two dozen scary good photos. Even better, they covered three sports and seven schools: Bristol-Plymouth (football), Diman (football), Joseph Case (football), Old Rochester (boys’ soccer), Seekonk (football) Somerset Berkley (field hockey), and West Bridgewater (field hockey).

A good selection are featured below in this week’s photo gallery, where more than 35 pictures are showcased.

And, yes, any other high school student can have their pictures showcased, too. To take part in this free program, simply sign up here. And if you have questions, please send them to John Vitti at john.vitti@globe.com.
