The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra will host a fall fundraiser on Friday, Oct. 24, at the Plymouth Center for the Arts, 11 North St.

The event, titled “Shadows and Serenades: An Enchanted Evening of Music and the Unexpected,” aims to blend music, art and mystery, according to a community announcement.

The evening starts at 6:30 p.m. with a VIP candlelight concert featuring a performance by a string trio, led by Eleanor Blake on cello. The concert will take place in the galleries of the Plymouth Center for the Arts, which will be transformed with candlelight and artistic displays, according to the announcement.

At 7:30 p.m., the event will open to a broader audience, offering guests the chance to enjoy stories by Neil McGarry, tarot readings, live background music and hors d’oeuvres. A cash bar and a silent auction with unique items will also be available.

Tickets are priced at $100 for the full evening experience, including the VIP concert, and $25 for the “Shadows & Serenades” event only, which runs from 7:30-9:30 p.m. All proceeds will support the Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra’s mission to provide inspiring performances and educational experiences that connect the community, according to the announcement.

The orchestra, a nonprofit cultural institution in Massachusetts, is celebrating its 110th season. It’s dedicated to artistic excellence and community enrichment through live music and outreach programs.
