    Mikey Johansson threw for 253 yards and four scores while rushing for two more as Wayland (1-6) took down Dual County League football opponent Waltham 48-21.

    In an Independent School League matchup, Jagger Carreiro scored a pair of touchdowns and intercepted the two-point conversion to help Brooks to a 13-12 victory over Nobles.

    Boys soccer

    In nonleague play, Austin Raposo had the lone goal as Westport (13-0-1) edged Old Rochester 1-0. … Stoyan Popov had a hat trick as Nantucket rolled over Tri-County 11-0.

    Girls soccer

    In a nonleague game, Ciara Sammon and Abigail Bilodeau both finished with a goal as Central Catholic edged Masconomet, 2-1. … On senior day, Senior Lillyana Githitu recorded a hat trick to boost Greater Lowell (7-5-2) to a 5-1 win over Lowell.

    Caitlin Nugent, Mia Francis, Meredith Jones and Siena Quintiliani all scored as Braintree (6-3-5) shut out Archbishop Williams 4-0.

    Field hockey

    Alyssa Norden and Cam Driscoll each tallied four goals, as St. Mary’s rolled past Arlington Catholic, 10-0, in the Catholic Central League.

    Rowan Paul had a hat trick while Sadie Paterson and Clementine Kelly each netted two goals, helping Nantucket to a 7-0 win over Sharon in nonleague action.
